För sjunde gången bjuder vi in till Öppet Hus den 26 maj! Det är Sveriges största GT-R träff och ett uppskattat sätt att träffa andra ägare. Vi visar upp våran Time Attack GT-R som fått ett rörramschassi inför den här säsongen. På plats finns även en av endast två mattgrå Nismo GT-R i Sverige. En väldigt unik bil med andra ord. Som vanligt bjuder vi på våra populära hamburgare, dryck och kaffe.

Transmission cooler

This low mileage 2010 GT-R was in the shop to get ready for the track season. It´s an old customer of ours that owns it and we´ve done a lot of work on the car before. This time we installed a South Side Performance transmission cooler and did the yearly maintenance. It´s one of the nicest and most well kept GT-R´s we´ve seen.

First Nismo GT-R in Sweden

Some time ago we had a visit from the first Nismo GT-R in Sweden. It´s an old customer of ours that owns it. The car is really special and all the carbon bits gives it a more aggressive look. Here are some pictures for you.

GT3 GT-R Time Attack brakes

The brake cailpers for our Time Attack GT-R have arrived. It´s a set of Brembo GT calipers. They weigh 40% less than the OEM calipers. This is pure fabrication porn so maybe we should label it NSFW? Thanks goes to Brembo and LM Motorsports for supplying them.

Track prep

This red GT-R was in for some service and track prep ahead of the season. The owner is a gentleman that uses the car for a lot of track work so we installed new brake pads and discs from Performance Friction.


Our Time Attack GT-R is official!

Here it is! Our competitor for this years Time Attack series in Sweden! It´s a GT-R with a GT3 carbon body kit from Nismo. The car will have the AWD system from the street car, in modified form. The engine will have around 1000hp and a modified gearbox to cope with it. We´ve gotten ourselves a pro driver that will drive the car. It´s Alx Danielsson, who´s one of Sweden´s most successful drivers of all time. The first race is at Kinnekulle Ring 22-23 of May. A lot more info will be posted during the season. More carbon parts arrived

Last week we got the next shipment of parts for our Time Attack project. Below is a sneak peak at the front fenders, which are a lot wider than the OEM ones. It almost looks like it´s installed in the wrong position, but it´s not. It really is THAT much wider. Stay tuned for more parts we´ll show you later on.

Mr K. is back for a service before going to the Ring

Mr K. is another of our long time customers. He uses his GT-R mostly on track so it needs a lot of service. This time we replaced all the fluids and did some work on the brakes. The front discs and the pads both front and rear was replaced as well as the brake fluid. The car is now ready for the next adventure to the Nurburgring. When Mr K. was at the workshop we couldn´t resist taking a picture of another blue GT-R with some nice aftermarket wheels on it. Mr K´s car is on the left. Time to reveal our new project

Since our Open House is over and we´ve shown our customers what we´ve been teasing you with the last few days, it´s time to reveal it here as well. The plan is to build a Time Attack GT-R which will be ready for the 2015 season. Therefore we´ve bought an almost complete body kit from a Nismo GT3 GT-R. The base car is a brand new 2012 GT-R which we´ve started disassembling. So, what do you think? Are we completely nuts or is it cool in just the right way?

The red GT-R is finished

Today we finished a customer car that we´ve been working on for some time. We upgraded the gearbox with our Stage 1 kit plus a stronger clutch basket and 1st gear kit. The engine was tuned with a COBB Accessport Flex Fuel map, downpipes, intake kit, injectors and fuel pumps. The car already had a Meisterschaft exhaust installed. We also installed a KW Sleeve kit to be able to lower the car. The result was 551awhp on E85 on the Mustang dyno today and a slightly lower car.

The 1000bhp project is alive!

Last year we told you about the 1000bhp project we we´re building for a customer. During the course of the project it´s been upgraded and changed to a more extreme specification. Now the goal is 1100awhp! So, to achieve this we replaced the turbos to even bigger ones. And now the customer have picked the car up and is running in the engine. The pic you see below is just the spec for running in the engine and not the final one. The car will be back soon for an oil change and the last modifications before final engine tuning will be done. What do you think of the result so far? Not too bad, right?

New brakes and a service

Last year we fitted a GTC 4″ exhaust and a pair of Takata seat belts in this car. Now after a few track days it was back for a service and to get new brake discs fitted. The AP Racing J-hook discs are very nice, both for street and track. If you want something done to your car, get in touch.

Busy busy

Our first slammed GT-R

This is the first time we´ve lowered a GT-R this much. The customer wanted it as low as possible and with the KW Sleeve kit we installed, this is the result. We also installed a set of AP Racing J-hook brake discs up front and some Carbonetic pads. If you want some parts or some work done, get in touch.

Odd job

One of our customers had a small “racing incident” and went off the track at a recent event. Both the car and driver are fine but we had to remove a lot of Leca balls from the under trays of the car. Not a job we do every day fortunately.

The Norwegian project – update

Since we got the car, we´ve upgraded the gearbox with our stage 1 kit. We´ve also installed the Ohlins Road&Track coilovers and removed the engine to prepare it for the Switzer P800 package. We´re also working on the gearbox cooler which might be the best solution we´ve seen of all the different types we´ve installed over the years. Here are some pictures that show what we´ve been up to.

The Norwegian project

This is a special project for us. A customer from Norway called and wanted us to modify a GT-R that will be used heavily on track. The customer didn´t even have the car when we first spoke. Within a week after first contact, he had bought a brand new 2012 GT-R and we had it in the shop. Now the modifications will begin. They will include:

* Switzer P800 package
* Öhlins Road&Track coilovers
* Carbon fiber Recaro seats
* AP Racing brake discs
* Heigo roll cage
* Whiteline sway bars
* Dodson adjustable front upper arms
* Akrapovic titanium exhaust system
* Greddy gearbox cooler
* 23GTR stage 1 gearbox upgrade with Dodson parts
* Schroth 4 point harnesses

More parts for Mr. P-O´s GT-R

As we wrote in a previous post, Mr. P-O´s GT-R will become more track focused this year. In that post we showed you the Öhlins Road & Track coilovers, the Whiteline suspension parts, the GTNET steering wheel and the AP Racing front brakes. The rest of the parts we ordered have arrived and they are the Meisterschaft catback exhaust, Password JDM dry carbon trunk, rear wing and induction snorkels. With these parts installed, we´re sure P-O will not only enjoy his car more but also set some nice times on the track. Drop us a mail if you want some parts for your GT-R.

Mr. P-O´s 2012 GT-R becomes more track focused

Mr. P-O uses his 2012 GT-R on track a lot and he wanted to upgrade both the handling, braking and the interior. He asked us at 23GTR.se if we could help him and of course we did. We ordered a set of Ohlins coilovers and also some Whiteline bushes and swaybars to improve the handling. A new steering wheel from GTNET make the feeling a lot better when on track. He also wanted a set of braided brake hoses so we got a set from Dodson for him. To finish it off, we got him a set of AP Racing J-hook brake discs. The pics really don´t do the parts justice. We´d like to point out that with the Ohlins coilovers, not only is the handling improved on track but you get a better ride on normal bumpy roads as well. Team Ice Ricers video blog

Our friend and customer Robert has started a video blog where he shows different activities he does with his car. In the first episode he shows that he uses his car even in the winter. In the second video he has a famous guest driver: Samuel Hübinette, drift racer from the north of Sweden. Samuel shows how to drift the GT-R on an ice track in his hometown of Jokkmokk. The car is equipped with Lappi tires with 850 studs in each tire. All tuning of the car is done by us at 23GTR.se. If you want something done to your car, get in touch. Roberts car got some new seat belts

As we´ve told you before, we can provide everything for these cars. This time when Robert came to the shop he wanted some new seat belts so he could concentrate 100% on the driving when he´s on track. He choose two sets of Takata and below is the result. Takata are now available in both the classic green but also black color. If you want some seat belts in your car, don´t hesitate to contact us.

Time to bring you some news that aren´t just pics of customer cars but of parts we have in stock. Today we got a new delivery of brake discs. We now have Alcon 400mm for MY11-12 as well as AP Racing 380mm for MY08-10 and 390mm for MY11-12.

We´ve also got some Toyo R888 tyres and lets not forget the exclusive BBS CH-R wheels which is probably the last new set in the world!

When it comes to gearbox parts we stock the most common upgrade parts and of course also oil. If you want to make a simple oil service we got you covered. We stock both engine oil and filters at all time.
Exclusively we have a few liters of Nismo Differential oil, 2189E. Very hard to find in Europe.

We also have a HKS stainless midpipe in stock. Pair that with a COBB Accessport and you get a completely new feeling when you drive the car. It not only sounds better but it goes better as well. If you need some work done or just want to buy some parts, get in touch.

Mr U´s car gets some upgrades

Mr U´s car will be a regular on this page over the coming months and years. He´s approach is totally different to almost every other customer we have. He´s decided to build from the ground up before doing any major power upgrade. He started this by strengthening the gearbox. We replaced first gear and did the usual upgrades like circlips, oil and such. He also decided that he wanted more downforce at the front so we installed the Willall Racing splitter. After a service and some new intake pipes he´s good to go for now. Check back later for more news on this car. Here´s what it looks like at the moment.

AP Racing J-hook brake discs and Carbonetic pads on Mr. P´s GT-R

Mr P had some cracks in his brake discs plus his pads were worn so he stopped by the shop last week. We fitted AP Racing J-hook grooved discs instead of the cracked drilled OEM ones. He also got a set of Carbonetic brake pads to get better stopping power than before. While we were at it, we installed a COBB Accessport to give him some more power. The text message from him after leaving the shop sums it up: “Haha, it´s a completely different car! Thanks!” We´d like to thank you Mr. P and you´re always welcome back!

Pics from Open House

Here are some shots from the Open House we held yesterday. We had some parts on display, both from our own stock and also from our suppliers Ohlins, Akrapovic and Performance Friction Brakes. Ohlins showed the first production units of their new Road & Track dampers for GT-R, which was a world premiere. Two gearboxes were on display so we could show customers the problems and solutions we offer. During the day we performed different work on some customer cars. We installed Alcon 400mm brakes, COBB Accessports, replaced a damaged oil pan and did some oil changes among other work. When it was done we served some burgers, hot dogs and cold drinks.
We´d like to thank all of our customers and suppliers that joined us on this day.

Open House will be Scandinavias biggest GT-R meet!

Yes, even before we´ve held the event, our Open House is a success! At the moment we have 18 cars that will participate, making this the biggest GT-R meet in Scandinavia by far! Our customers are coming all the way from Luleå in the north of Sweden down to Trelleborg in the far south. We´re really happy that so many will show up, even though many of our long time customers can´t make it.

Two companies will show their products during the day. First is Öhlins who will show the prototypes for their Road & Track coilovers for GT-R that they will start producing this summer.

Secondly it´s PEAN Sweden that will show brake upgrades and Akrapovic exhaust systems.

Lots of upgrades to Mr. M´s GT-R

Mr M is a long time customer of 23GTR.se. This time he wanted to make the car even faster on track. Therefore we´ve replaced the swaybars, the front upper suspension arms and added some more power. We swapped out the OEM downpipes and midpipe to free up some flow for the tune. We choose a HKS Legamax resonated midpipe to still keep the noise level in check. Interior wise we installed a carbon bucket seat and Takata 4 point harnesses for both the driver and passenger. Mr M also wanted to upgrade the looks of the car so we installed a set of Zele sideskirts. After a service and a tune he´s ready to hit the tracks, beginning at the Nurburgring in April. Whiteline swaybars for GT-R

Here are a few pics of the Whiteline swaybars we´ve used both on the democar but also on customer cars. They are a very nice addition if you run your car on track. You can see the difference in thickness compared to the OEM ones. The price is very reasonable considering the effect it has on the performance of the car. If you want a set, drop us a mail.

Recaros in a Porsche 997 Turbo

A customer of ours saw the work we did with Thomas GT-R, where we installed a set of special Recaro leather seats, and decided he wanted the same type of seats in his Porsche Turbo. He choose to have a mix of leather and alcantara. Well, here is the result. Both the customer and we are very happy. If you need parts for your Porsche, don´t hesitate to contact us. Remember, we sell Switzers power upgrades not only for GT-R´s but for Porsches as well.

Ohlins coilovers on the democar!

It´s been a looong wait but we finally got our set of Ohlins coilovers for the democar. As far as we know, it´s the first set outside of Japan. We installed them last week and tested them last Saturday at a track event here in Sweden. The results were outstanding. We ran fastest in our class (R-tires and slicks with a max size of 10.5″/26″) and were almost as fast as a Corvette C6 on slicks with roughly 600bhp. The next test will be more valuable since we´ll run the same track as we´ve done before so we can compare lap times. Below are a few pictures of the shocks and also of what the democar looks like at the moment. Toyo R888 in stock

We have a few sets of Toyo R888 in stock. The price is really low since we want to clear stock. The sizes are 285 front and 315 rear and they fit the OEM wheels without any rubbing. We use these on our democar and we´re very happy with them. The set we have on at the moment have seen four trackdays and around 8000kms of street driving and they´re not worn out yet.
