Last year we told you about the 1000bhp project we we´re building for a customer. During the course of the project it´s been upgraded and changed to a more extreme specification. Now the goal is 1100awhp! So, to achieve this we replaced the turbos to even bigger ones. And now the customer have picked the car up and is running in the engine. The pic you see below is just the spec for running in the engine and not the final one. The car will be back soon for an oil change and the last modifications before final engine tuning will be done. What do you think of the result so far? Not too bad, right?
Today we replaced the seats in a customers GT-R. He accidentally ripped a hole in the seat base of his drivers seat some time ago. Instead of fixing it, he decided he wanted a fresh set of seats. And since we had a nearly new set of Black Edition seats in stock, we installed them in his car. BTW, we don´t pass judgement on our customers taste in blankets.
This GT-R is probably the best maintained GT-R in Sweden. It´s in amazing condition and it´s also very low mileage. It came into our shop to get a Stage 1 gearbox upgrade, a service and some other small work done.
We continue to build on the success story that our Open House is. It´s grown every year we´ve held it and last year we had 22 GT-R´s attending. This year it´s held on May 10th so book that into your calender right away. As usual we´ll have a BBQ, some nice offers for our customers and also a great time with other GT-R owners. This is our 3rd annual Open House and we hope it´ll be even bigger than last year. This is what it looked like back then.
Last year we fitted a GTC 4″ exhaust and a pair of Takata seat belts in this car. Now after a few track days it was back for a service and to get new brake discs fitted. The AP Racing J-hook discs are very nice, both for street and track. If you want something done to your car, get in touch.
This customer wanted the best exhaust system available for his GT-R, so he choose an Akrapovic titanium exhaust. As you can see, the craftsmanship is outstanding and so is the fitment and finish.
Mr M is one of our most loyal customers. We´ve serviced and worked on his car for a few years now. This season he decided to change direction a bit. Before he´s done a lot of track driving but now he wants to enjoy the car more on the streets. Therefore we replaced the Ohlins coilovers and installed a set of spacers to get the wheels out a bit more. The carbon seat that was in the car before is also gone. This is what it looks like now.
This car is being used a lot. It´s an EDM 2012 that´s already covered close to 60,000km. It was in for a service. We recommended a wash as well when the car was picked up…
Last week we performed the yearly MOT on this car. We prepared it by raising it, installing an OEM midpipe and afterwards we lowered the car again. We´ve also done a service so it´s now ready to be sold. If you´re interested in a red 2010 GT-R for a decent price, let us know and we´ll get you in touch with the owner.
Even though it´s still winter here in Sweden, we´re very busy as you can see in the pic below. If you want some work done to your car, please get in touch now to book a time, since our calender is filling up quickly.
This time we show you a dyno sheet which shows the result we got on a bone stock 2013 EDM GT-R. We´re tuning it next week and after that we´ll show you how much the increase was. The results were 425awhp and 584awNm. All numbers are corrected as usual.
This rare and unique Spec V is the only one in Sweden. It´s a very low mileage car in excellent condition. Its owner wanted some more power so he choose more or less the same upgrades as we did on the first Syvecs build:
Syvecs ECU with Flex Fuel sensor
GTC Intake pipes with K&N filters
ASNU 1100cc injectors
AMS fuel rails with regulator
Both fuel pumps upgraded
Since the Spec V have larger turbos from the factory, this car got more power compared with the first one. The peak numbers are 541awhp/681awNm. Both numbers are corrected. Here are some pics of the dyno sheet, the car itself and the amazing titanium exhaust Nissan made for it. If you want some more power in your GT-R, drop us a mail and we´ll take care of your car.
Here´s the dyno sheet and a pic of the first Syvecs equipped car we´ve built. It was running a COBB Accessport before, but now it´s in a different league of engine control and protection. It´s also running Flex Fuel so the owner can fill it up with either E85 or 98 octane or a mix. The numbers in the dyno sheet are corrected and the peak values are 522awhp/684awNm. This is on the Mustang dyno we always use. The mods on this car are:
Syvecs ECU with Flex Fuel sensor
GTC Intake pipes with K&N air filters
GTC 4″ midpipe and catback exhaust
ASNU 1100cc injectors
AMS fuel rails with regulator
Both fuel pumps upgraded
If you want some more power in your car, just get in touch!
This Spec V is the only one in Sweden. We´re honored to get the opportunity to give it some upgrades since it´s such a rare car. Below are some pics that show some of the unique parts it has as standard equipment.
We want to thank all our customers for another amazing year! We´ve managed to reach another all time high and we owe it all to you, our customers! Thanks again!
We´re closed until January 7th when we open again for business. Until then we leave you with this winter picture of our customer Team Icericers car. Follow them on Facebook to see all their adventures.
We wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Here´s a picture of the two Syvecs GT-R ECUs we just got in stock. As we´ve posted before, Syvecs are powering all the fastest GT-R builds around the world so we know they can make tons of power. The other outstanding feature the Syvecs ECU offers is the protection of the engine. It has a number of built in safety features that other ECUs simply don´t have. It´ll be very interesting to see what results we can get from them. Stay tuned for more info.
This car came in with a damaged gearbox. The damage was primarily to the FWD clutch assembly. As you can see from the pictures, the FWD pinion has snapped and it´s damaged the clutch assembly from the inside. The bearing is also damaged (behind the green plastic). On the FWD output shaft, the bearing has completely disintegrated and of course needed to be replaced. While we were at it, we upgraded it to a stronger bearing from Dodson Motorsport. The gearbox casing was also damaged so that was replaced as well. It´s not often that the damage is this severe, but it can happen when the gearbox isn´t upgraded enough when the power and torque is raised through tuning.
All the cars in the back row needed some kind of gearbox work. From a complete gearset on one car to repairing the FWD clutch assembly on another. No two cars are the same. The car in front got a service before it was sold. The wheels from that car are for sale if you´re interested.
This is just one of 5 complete PPG gear sets we have in stock. A few of them are spoken for and ordered by our customers, but we still have one set left if you want to upgrade the gearbox in your car. Don´t hesitate to get in touch, since they are selling fast and production is limited to 50 sets each run.
We´ve done some work on this car before, but this time it´s got a new owner. And this time it´s in for a 30000km service.
After a well deserved holiday we´re now back and the cars are queuing to get in and get work done. We have a lot of gearboxes that will be both upgraded and repaired during the autumn. In a later post, we´ll show you the parts we´ve ordered to make all the gearboxes work. In the meantime, here´s a pic that shows some of the cars outside the shop.
Normally we install the green Takata belts in the GT-Rs but this customer wanted the new, black version. Below is the result. Get in touch if you want a 4 point harness in your car.
Team Icericers were back at the shop to get some parts installed. This time we replaced the seats with two Recaro Pole Position and we also installed a HKS gearbox cooler. Before they came into the shop, they picked the car up at the wrapping company. They made the car look like an old Viggen fighter jet from the Swedish Air Force.
It seems like it´s the season for broken gearboxes right now. This GT-R came into the shop and when we took the box apart we found a broken 4th gear. Luckily for the customer, we had parts in stock, so it will be up and running again next week. We just want to point out that we hadn´t done any work on the car before the failure. If you want to upgrade your gearbox, don´t hesitate to contact us.
We have an amazing deal on just a few HKS GT800 kits! The price is only 75,000SEK compared with the normal price of 109,900SEK! Get in touch if you want a kit for your GT-R.
We always take pride in that we only work with GT-Rs and that we´re really good at what we do. However, when we were approached by a customer that wanted us to replace the clutch in his Mitsubishi Evo X we had to jump on it since it´s never been done in Sweden before. Below are some pics that show the gearbox and some of the parts inside. If you also have an Evo X and want to tune it to get more power, then you need to replace the clutch. Get in touch if you want us to help you make your Evo X run as fast as you want it to.
After the rider of the bike lost race #1, he demanded a re-race. He was convinced that he had too much wind resistance at high speed so he decided to remove his jacket and gloves!!! In this race he started in second gear and got a better start. The brake point (finish line) is the tire stack that can be seen on the side of the runway. Even though it was close, the GT-R still won!
We had a bit of fun when we brought two customer cars to an air field event. It was one Switzer P800 and one AMS Alpha 9. We raced them against each other and also the Alpha 9 against a Yamaha R1. The bike had been tuned with a full Akrapovic exhaust, intake filter and Power Commander. This is race #1:
This is the first time we´ve replaced a broken front diff. We´ve seen broken diffs before, but normally the casing breaks and not the gears.
In this post we show you the result of our Stage 2 power upgrade that we installed on the 6th car we´ve worked on from Finland. The dyno shows 531hp and 660Nm at the wheels. This is the highest numbers we´ve got on any Stage 2 upgrade so we´re very happy. If you are curious what Stage 2 is, these are the parts that´s included:
Complete exhaust including downpipes
Intake pipes and air filters
Individual mapping on Mustang dyno
We also installed our Stage 1 transmission upgrade. That´s new circlips, oil pump upgrade, more magnets in the oil tray and better oil. Below are some pics of the car and the dyno sheet.
This car came into the shop with a broken gearbox. It´s 5th gear that´s given up and needs replacing. We just want to point out that we haven´t done any work on the car before it came in with this problem. For those that wants to know, the car is not stock. It´s got a GT800 kit from HKS installed. The gearbox was simply not upgraded enough to handle the power and torque. Since we are Dodson Pro Dealer, we´ll make sure it´s stronger than ever after we´ve upgraded it.
This is the first time we´ve lowered a GT-R this much. The customer wanted it as low as possible and with the KW Sleeve kit we installed, this is the result. We also installed a set of AP Racing J-hook brake discs up front and some Carbonetic pads. If you want some parts or some work done, get in touch.
One of our customers had a small “racing incident” and went off the track at a recent event. Both the car and driver are fine but we had to remove a lot of Leca balls from the under trays of the car. Not a job we do every day fortunately.
Last year we had 11 GT-Rs at once outside the workshop during our Open House. This year we beat that by a mile! On Saturday May the 4th, we had 20 GT-Rs at the workshop during this years Open House! We´d like to thank everyone that showed up and made this an historic event! We´re already thinking what we can do next to top this. Among the cars were one AMS Alpha 9 and two Switzer P800. All built by us at 23GTR.se. Here are some pics from the day.
This high mileage 2012 GT-R was in for a service this week. Very busy customer so we´re scheduling more work later on.
Since we got the car, we´ve upgraded the gearbox with our stage 1 kit. We´ve also installed the Ohlins Road&Track coilovers and removed the engine to prepare it for the Switzer P800 package. We´re also working on the gearbox cooler which might be the best solution we´ve seen of all the different types we´ve installed over the years. Here are some pictures that show what we´ve been up to.
This is a special project for us. A customer from Norway called and wanted us to modify a GT-R that will be used heavily on track. The customer didn´t even have the car when we first spoke. Within a week after first contact, he had bought a brand new 2012 GT-R and we had it in the shop. Now the modifications will begin. They will include:
* Switzer P800 package
* Öhlins Road&Track coilovers
* Carbon fiber Recaro seats
* AP Racing brake discs
* Heigo roll cage
* Whiteline sway bars
* Dodson adjustable front upper arms
* Akrapovic titanium exhaust system
* Greddy gearbox cooler
* 23GTR stage 1 gearbox upgrade with Dodson parts
* Schroth 4 point harnesses
Stay tuned for more updates about this car. Here it is before the modifications started.
We thought things would return to normal after Easter but we´re still crazy busy and will be until at least the middle of May. Below is a pic that shows what it looked like outside the shop last week. We also had two black GT-R´s in the shop that´s not in the pic. The pic with the keys shows the keys to 6 of the 8 GT-R´s we had in the shop the week before Easter.
This time the customer wanted our stage 1 upgrade and also added a first gear kit and a stronger shift fork. The stage 1 kit consists of Gear Lock, Mechanical circlips 1 and 2, additional magnets for the oil tray, oil pump upgrade, better oil and a clean of the solenoid pack. This is a very good investment to make sure the circlips won´t fall off and cause damage to the box. Get in touch if you want us to upgrade the gearbox in your GT-R.
We can now offer complete interiors for your GT-R. As you can see from the pics below anything can be redone. In this car everything was done in Alcantara and completed with some carbon fiber parts. If you feel like upgrading your interior, send us a mail.
As we wrote in a previous post, Mr. P-O´s GT-R will become more track focused this year. In that post we showed you the Öhlins Road & Track coilovers, the Whiteline suspension parts, the GTNET steering wheel and the AP Racing front brakes. The rest of the parts we ordered have arrived and they are the Meisterschaft catback exhaust, Password JDM dry carbon trunk, rear wing and induction snorkels. With these parts installed, we´re sure P-O will not only enjoy his car more but also set some nice times on the track. Drop us a mail if you want some parts for your GT-R.
It´s a known problem that the steering lock module can seize to work. When it happens you´re stranded since your GT-R won´t start when it happens. Our solution is to remove the steering lock module and replace it with a box that connects to the OEM electrical connector. The only downside to our solution is that you won´t have any steering lock anymore, but then you won´t risk being stranded if it should fail. Below you can see our solution and an OEM steering lock module. If you want to buy one of these, just send us a mail. We have them in stock since we know how frustrating it is when the OEM module fails.
Auto Tecknics parts are a new addition in our lineup for the GT-R. They make carbon parts and now also the shift paddles you can see in the pics below. They are available in three different colors and you can also get the + and – pinstriped to a contrasting color if you´d like. Have a look at the pics and if you feel the itch to get some for your car, just send us a mail.

We welcome all old and new customers!
This is what it looked like last year. We hope we´ll get at least as many visitors this year.
We´re proud to have been appointed dealers for Meisterschaft exhaust systems. We´ve already installed a few of them and we really like the quality and fitment. If you want a really LOUD exhaust, then Meisterschaft is what you want. It will give your car that growl that it´s missing in stock form. Below are some pics of the GT-R exhaust. Meisterschaft make exhausts for a number of other cars, such as Audi, BMW, Porsche, Bentley and Aston Martin to name just a few. Drop us a mail if you´re interested in getting a Meisterschaft exhaust for your car.
We got a phone call from one of our P800 customers today. He was a bit excited to say the least. He was out driving when he happened to be on an empty section of dry and flat tarmac and had his Driftbox available. He thought, why not try it out and see what numbers come up? So, he floored it from 80km/h in third gear and measured 100-200km/h and also 100-250km/h. The result? The best numbers we´ve seen in Scandinavia! The temperature plays a big part here since it was around 0 deg C outside, but non the less, the result is great. Remember, he was using winter tires as well. In fact, the 100-250 run is faster than what a German magazine measured an AMS Alpha 9 to recently. Below is the picture proof of the run. If you want some more power in your GT-R, get in touch.
Mr. P-O uses his 2012 GT-R on track a lot and he wanted to upgrade both the handling, braking and the interior. He asked us at 23GTR.se if we could help him and of course we did. We ordered a set of Ohlins coilovers and also some Whiteline bushes and swaybars to improve the handling. A new steering wheel from GTNET make the feeling a lot better when on track. He also wanted a set of braided brake hoses so we got a set from Dodson for him. To finish it off, we got him a set of AP Racing J-hook brake discs. The pics really don´t do the parts justice. We´d like to point out that with the Ohlins coilovers, not only is the handling improved on track but you get a better ride on normal bumpy roads as well. If you want some new parts for your GT-R, don´t hesitate to send us a mail.
Some time ago we were asked to help out with a Buing guide about the GT-R for Swedens biggest car magazine, Bilsport. The result was 5 pages in their latest issue, 1-2 2013. Below are the scanned pages from the mag.
Our friend and customer Robert has started a video blog where he shows different activities he does with his car. In the first episode he shows that he uses his car even in the winter. In the second video he has a famous guest driver: Samuel Hübinette, drift racer from the north of Sweden. Samuel shows how to drift the GT-R on an ice track in his hometown of Jokkmokk. The car is equipped with Lappi tires with 850 studs in each tire. All tuning of the car is done by us at 23GTR.se. If you want something done to your car, get in touch. Below are the first video blog post and a clip (in Swedish) from Swedish channel 4s motor program “Motorbloggen”.
Mr P had a problem that the battery got drained when the car had been standing for just a few days. We took a look at it and found that the audio unit was causing the problem. We replaced it and now the car works as it should again. Everything was covered by the insurance. Below are a few pics of the work involved. If you need some work done to your car, don´t hesitate to drop us a mail.
